Allegiant Book Review

Let me just start off this review by saying  that I actually really dislike the Divergent  series. When I read the first book, I loved it  because it reminded  me of the Hunger Games but then I reread it  a year later and hated it. I read the second book and the only  thing I found enjoyable was the ending. I wasn't  even planning on reading Allegiant, but one day my little sister  came home  from school with Allegiant in her  hand and  said she  saw it   at the library and thought I might want to read it. So being the bookworm I am,  I couldn't not read it when the chance was right in front of me so I read it. Let me just say, that I hated  this book so so much, and the only  part I liked was the ending. If you haven't read Allegiant and don't want to be spoiled I suggest not reading this  review.

So if you don't know what the Divergent trilogy is  about, it's basically  about  5 factions, that each represent a quality. Some people are Divergent which means they have  an aptitude  for a bunch of  factions. Our main  character Tris Prior, is divergent and it causes a bunch of  problems for her.

Okay so in Allegiant, we start it where we left off,  with everyone in a frenzy  because there's actually something on the other side of the fences .   Four's mom, is taking total control of everything since Jeanine is dead a. Four's  mom is a horrible  leader, who doesn't want to go on the other side of the fence. So a bunch of people form The Allegiant  who want to  go the other side of the fence. Of course Tris and Four join them and they go  to the other side of the fence. What is on the other  side of the fence, is frankly quite disappointment.  I think it would be cool if it was like a bunch of farms and everything was normal and nice and  they ignored Chicago but no, it was just a building and the rest  was  going to shambles.

I think the genetically damaged thing is the stupidest thing ever. It makes literally no sense, that smart people would have come  up with this theory. I think Veronica  Roth was trying to come up with a good reason for having factions but  couldn't  find one.

Allegiant  was told  in multiple  perspectives, Four's perspective and Tris's perspective. I found their voices to be    exactly the same and I think the smart thing to do, would be  for Tris to narrate the whole time then when  she dies, Four  could  take over.

The  thing  that made me like  this   book, a little bit more was the ending. The ending made me so happy,  the zipline and everyone gathering around to remember Tris, that's what really made the book for me.

Despite that   beautiful scene, I still hated this book. I have it a  2/5 stars on Goodreads
